Classification of cement kilns


The environmentally friendly cement kiln is the main equipment for calcining cement raw materials into cement clinker. The cement raw materials are dehydrated, dried, preheated, decomposed, fired, and cooled to form cement clinker. Wet Rotary Kiln


The cement kiln used in wet production is called a wet kiln, and wet production is to make raw materials into a slurry with a water content of 32% to 40%. Because it is prepared as a fluid slurry, the raw materials are well mixed and the ingredients of the raw material are uniform so that the fired clinker is of high quality, which is the main advantage of wet production.


Dry Rotary Kiln


Compared with the wet rotary kiln, the advantages and disadvantages of the dry rotary kiln are exactly the opposite. The dry method makes the raw meal dry powder, and the moisture is generally less than 1%, so it reduces the heat required for evaporating water compared with the wet method. Due to the high temperature of the exhaust gas in the hollow kiln, the heat consumption is not low. Dry production makes raw materials into dry powder, which has poorer fluidity than mud. So the ingredients are not well mixed and the ingredients are uneven.
